Health News of Monday, 19 September 2016Source: cameroon-tribune.cmFCFA 73 billion to enhance regional health servicesThe government of Cameroon has signed two separate agreements worth 73billion FCFA with the WBAccordingly, the world Bank make available the loan to improve on the health system with special emphasis on the upgrading of Health Centres and Hospitals especially neonatal health care, services. The agreement was signed between the Minister of the Economy Planning and Regional Development Louis Paul Motaze and the Director of Operations of the World Bank Elisabeth Huybens. According to the agreement, this project which is in its second phase shall focus on delivery healthcare services in the three northern Regions of Cameroon. The pilot phase of the project was executed in the Littoral, South West, North West and the East Regions of Cameroon.
