FC Dallas will be without its star, Jesús Ferreira, who departed for USMNT training camp Tuesday ahead of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. FCD enters the game fifth in the Western Conference with 26 points, while Austin FC is 12th with 19 points. Austin FC also enters the match looking to turn things around after losing its last two. FC Dallas has had the edge against its in-state rival since Austin FC joined the league, losing once in eight games, on Oct. 23, 2022.
