Morales and Diaz said they had false immigration documents when they worked at President Trump's golf resort in Bedminster, N.J. (Bebeto Matthews/AP)Federal and state investigators are scrutinizing the employment documents of immigrants without legal status who say they worked at President Trump’s golf club in New Jersey, according to their attorney. The FBI agents told him they would “coordinate” with the New Jersey state attorney general’s office, Romero said. The materials collected by law enforcement agencies, first reported by the New York Daily News, indicate that investigators may be launching a probe into the hiring practices of the president’s golf club. The supervisor said because she wasn’t documented and worked for the president, she couldn’t do anything about it, Morales said. She is still paid by the golf club but stopped going to work after her story was made public, her attorney said.
