PETALING JAYA: An article on social media allegedly penned by billionaire tycoon Robert Kuok (pic) commenting on the country’s leaders and “discriminatory” economic policies is false, and he will take action against the author, his office says. The article, circulating on Facebook, authored by one Luo Zhengkhai, had defamed the tycoon, the statement read. "In no uncertain terms, Kuok states that the comments attributed to him in the said article are entirely false. Kuok's office stressed that the tycoon is not associated with the allegations that he was not interested in or had stopped investing in Malaysia because of discriminatory economic policies implemented by the government. His office also denied that Kuok had claimed the economic policies were “discriminatory towards non-indigenous capital and talent”, and that the leaders of Malaysia are corrupt.
