Speaking to Ghanaweb, one such resident, Sawaare Jacob, explained that though efforts are being made to monitor the country’s borders, including those in the Upper West Region, there are other routes that people may still use as entry points into the country from neighboring Burkina Faso. A video captured by this resident, showed a pathway in Lawra Dikpe that links to Burkina Faso. The only barrier at this route is a stream which people will have to cross to and from both countries.
