The green light has been given for a patch of agricultural land to be transformed into a dog walking field. In December, Tom Saunders, from Saunders Brothers, lodged plans with Mid Suffolk District Council to convert land to the south of the B1117 Yaxley Road, at the junction with Braiseworth Road. The one hectare patch would be surrounded by a 1.8 metre fence, with a car park being placed at the south-western corner. Eye Town Council did not comment on the plans, while Suffolk Highways lodged no objections.
