One in five adults are planning to make changes to their home to combat the increasingly dangerous weather conditions - with a fifth looking to use sandbags to fight bad weather conditions. A spokesman from Sykes Pump Hire, which commissioned the survey, said: “Diverse weather conditions are seemingly becoming more frequent in this country. It also emerged high winds, rainstorms and flooding are among the extreme weather conditions concerning people the most, according to respondents polled via OnePoll.
