KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 31): Multi-Usage Holdings Bhd's external auditor Messrs Deloitte has expressed a qualified opinion on the company's financial statement for the financial year ended June 30, 2016 (FY16). Note 35(b), according to Multi-Usage, was related to outstanding debts totalling RM36.13 million owed by the group to certain lenders in prior years for which it had difficulty settling. Multi-Usage would be made to owe the SPV a sum of RM15.76 million, interest-free, and would be entitled to cash discounts for early payment of the debt, it added. Then in March this year, Multi-Usage announced the findings of its special audit report showing that the SPV is connected to certain directors. The stock closed unchanged at 70 sen, with a market value of RM39.49 million.
