KOTA KINABALU: One person was injured when a bus ferrying 28 people including a Miri football club team was involved in an accident at KM34 of the Keningau-Kimanis road on Sunday. It is learnt that the bus landed on its side as it was traversing a downhill stretch that cuts through the Crocker Range. A Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman said the injured man, whose condition was described as not serious, was taken to the Papar district hospital for treatment. The spokesman said that other passengers, including a child, were unhurt in the mishap. The football team was on its way to the city here for a friendly match.
