KUALA LUMPUR: A condominium unit in Mont Kiara here was badly damaged after a boiler explosion this morning. The unit is occupied by a British tenant, who happened to be home during the 9am incident. Ruhisha explained that the tenant was having breakfast in the living room when the expatriate heard a loud explosion coming from the bathroom. He added that the department’s forensic unit discovered that the explosion was caused by the boiler located in the bathroom. We had also informed the Energy Commission on the incident and further action will be taken by the condominium management,” he said.
