The Cabinet met at Dublin Castle on Friday to finalise the list of pilot sports and cultural events that will see fans who test negative for Covid-19 allowed to attend. Here is a sport-by-sport breakdown of the pilot schemes for the reopening of Irish stadia. The province will hold a ballot from their official members for the tickets, while a number of frontline workers from St Vincent's Hospital will also be given tickets to the test event. Minister Jack Chambers has also confirmed that the Irish rugby team's fixtures against the United States and Japan on July 3 and 10 will be test events for crowds at larger stadia. Furthermore, on the same weekend as the ladies League finals, the men's Allianz football league finals will also be potentially used as pilot events.
