Director General of Health Services, Specialist Dr. Asela Gunawardena said that the meeting will focus on the date of vaccination and how the vaccination programme will continue. The second dose of AstraZeneca CoviShield will be given in 10 to 12 weeks. The first dose of the AstraZeneca Covshield vaccine has been given to 9,225,242 people in Sri Lanka in connection with the Covid 19 immunization program.
