Wednesday night was another spirited performance from Portsmouth as they earned a draw at Vicarage Road. They largely nullified Watford's attack while posing an occasional threat at the other end. But it does not change the fact that Pompey need a centre-half urgently. There were some tired bodies at the end of the match who will be relieved the South Coast derby is not until Sunday. Further reinforcements are urgently needed although Ebou Adams and Millenic Alli have already made very positive contributions.
