The DNA test had found a man who had the same percentage match as me. He had discovered, aged six, that the man he believed to be his birth father wasn’t. In October 2018, I decided to take an at-home DNA test. So, when the second set of results confirmed that Troy was my brother, it didn’t feel momentous. We don’t need a DNA test to prove it.
