The talented number 10 has impressed during his time in the Gallagher Prem but is very much second choice to England maverick Marcus Smith in the big games. When Warren Gatland was in charge of Wales, Evans found himself in the international wilderness but as soon as Matt Sherratt became interim head coach midway through the 2025 Six Nations he was immediately called into the squad.
