India Today's Geeta Mohan ground reports from Rafah crossing border between Egypt and Gaza. It is a corridor allowing and receiving humanitarian assistance and life-essential aid kits for the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, home to over 2.3 million people. As the Israel-Hamas war persists and the ongoing bloody battle continues to witness fatalities, the Rafah border plays a crucial role in evacuations and the delivery of humanitarian aid. It is located along the 12 km border dividing the Gaza Strip and Egypt. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that 100 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies entered Gaza from Egypt on Sunday.
