Additionally, from any airport in the world, Ghanaians who have lost their passports can use their Ghanacards to board a flight back to Ghana. Since its introduction over a year ago, some members of the opposition NDC have expressed doubts about the Ghanacard's ability to function as an international travel document. However, several Ghanaians have used it to travel back to Ghana aboard various flights from all corners of the globe.
