Ex-police officer Simon Dilloway, of South Lopham, launches fund-raiser for life-changing treatment


A former police officer who was left paralysed from the neck down after falling down the stairs is raising £5,000 for ‘life-changing’ treatment. Simon Dilloway, 69, of South Lopham, suffered a spinal injury in May 2018 after falling down the stairs at his home. The accident left him with Central Cord Syndrome and quadriplegic paralysis. “And that was it, I was totally paralysed.”Before his accident, Mr Dilloway had a distinguished career in law enforcement and financial investigations. Now, Mr Dilloway, a grandfather to five, is now hoping to access ARCEX therapy at Neurokinex, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
