KUALA LUMPUR: A former high-ranking graft buster has lodged a report against Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and possible accomplices and abettors. Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director of intelligence and investigation Datuk Abdul Razak Idris (pic) lodged the report against ex-prime minister Najib over allegations that he abused his position to obtain gratification and owned unexplained properties. Abdul Razak said it was a “former boss” who urged him to lodge the report but declined to name the individual. “Some are worried about me for boldly coming out to lodge a report, but it’s all right, I’m already 69 years old,” said Abdul Razak. He thanked the Inspector-General of Police for being professional in maintaining order after the general election, and “this made me come forward to lodge this MACC report”.
