PETALING JAYA: A former national footballer has been arrested for allegedly trespassing into the hotel room of a woman here. Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said police were alerted of the incident around 6.10pm on Wednesday (June 21). "We received a report from the victim who claimed that the suspect, a former national football player, had trespassed into her room,” he said, adding the victim left the room. ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin said police arrested the suspect and remanded him to help in the investigations. Police urged those with information to contact the Petaling Jaya police operations room at 03-7966 2222.
