Ernest Koranteng, 30, was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob an officer of the Ghana Prisons Service, Sergeant Isaac Adams of his Loujia motorbike. The suspected bandits then attempted to pick the Luojia motorbike, but the victim pounced on them and a struggle ensued. Superintendent Awinaaba who confirmed the incident to Joy News was quick to add Mr Koranteng is no more with the Service. Superintendent Awinnaba said Mr Koranteng will be arraigned before the law court when the courts resume from the legal vacation.
