Former Nation Media Group (NMG) photojournalist William Oeri kept a secret diary recovered after his car burst into flames along the Kenol Sagana road in Murang'a County, killing him on the spot. According to Murang'a South police boss Alexander Shikondi the diary had secret messages the journalist had jotted down as 2023 resolutions. One of the commitments featured prominently in the diary was a pledge to fully support his daughter in achieving her educational goals.
