Inter Milan offered him a route out of his Red Devils nightmare, originally joining the current Serie A champions on loan before making his deal permanent at the start of last season. Sanchez will be 33 before the turn of the year and Sevilla are aiming to take advantage of cash-strapped Inter by securing the Chilean's signature for a cut-price deal. Given his fairly average individual season, Inter appear to be willing to lose Sanchez, who has bagged seven goals and seven assists in 30 league appearances, to try and generate funds. Having finished fourth last season and securing Champions League football, Sevilla may not be viewed as much of a step down from Sanchez' perspective. As Sanchez nears the twilight of his playing days, it is likely any move to Sevilla would be his last big transfer.
