And thanks to a series of injuries to Lightning centres, Froese was with the parent club Thursday, lining up against Boyle at Amalie Arena. “Froese was good, a good kid, a real honest player,” Leafs coach Mike Babcock said. The Leafs had to give to get to acquire Boyle, and the Lightning wanted Froese in addition to a second-round pick. “I don’t know if I look at it that way,” Froese said.
