PETALING JAYA: Former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan (pic) has received flak from Twitter users over his comments on an article by satire news site The Onion. Musa initially posted an "article" titled 'CIA Issues Posthumous Apology After New Evidence Clears Osama Bin Laden Of Involvement In 9/11 Attacks' from The Onion. Despite Twitter users pointing out that The Onion was a satirical publication, Musa insisted that the US government must make a statement on the article. Followed by a series of tweets, Musa continued to label the satire news site as "irresponsible journalism", and called for the site to provide an explanation. Twitter users were quick to jump on the bandwagon with some explaining the meaning of satire to Musa.
