"While he and his heart are doing well, the surgery resulted in vocal cord damage. Buckingham last played with Fleetwood Mac at a Grammy MusiCares event in New York in January 2018 when the famously dysfunctional British-American band were happily celebrated by their peers. Buckingham later sued Fleetwood Mac for breach of contact, and said in December the civil lawsuit had been settled out of court.
