He has been inspired by The F Word star and close friend Gordon Ramsay and wants to use his production company Studio 99 to make the series – which he is also pitching to the BBC. Meanwhile, a career change may help the star rebrand as the previously unshakeable Brand Beckham empire begins to falter.
