The proceedings Monday brought to a close part of a FBI sting operation and bribery case that primarily targeted Calderon’s brother. Former state Sen. Ron Calderon has pleaded guilty to accepting bribes from undercover FBI agents and a corrupt hospital executive. “I am ready to move on and accept my punishment.”Ron Calderon faces a harsher sentence from Snyder.
