Theophilus Onojeghen, WarriA former candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Sapele Constituency into Delta State House of Assembly, Felix Anirah, alongside over 5,000 others have dumped the APC for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State. Anirah, who was one of the strong leaders of the APC in the state, announced his defection to the PDP at a rally attended by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Sapele. Their defection is coming barely 48 hours to the forthcoming local government council election holding on Saturday across the state. Okowa, accompanied by the state PDP chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, called on all former members of the party who defected to the ruling APC at the centre to ‘return home’, adding that PDP was now better positioned to provide level playing field for all members. “We will test our strength on Saturday during the local government council election.
