Guardian Games BungieWith Destiny 2’s Guardian Games just over two weeks away, debuting on April 20, I figured it was time for an early preview, based on what we know so far through leaks. But in short, Destiny 2’s Guardian Games 2021 is trying to fix what was bad about last year’s version, lopsided teams, no real sense of class teamwork and letting participants play the field by not really committing to a class. Here’s the message from the datamine:“Before you can participate in the Games, every Guardian must first pledge their support for a class. The trophy is even smaller this yearJust kidding, I don’t actually know what the “prize” is this year. One weird thing to note is that this year’s Guardian Games has a few days of “closing ceremonies” on the roadmap where we don’t exactly know what that’s supposed to be, and how it’s different than the rest of the games.
