Share:LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Sunday said that the government was going to launch a historic welfare scheme of ‘Naya Pakistan Sehat Card’ from January. “In the first phase, ‘Naya Pakistan Sehat Card’ programme will be started from Lahore division and after that, the same will be launched in six other divisions of the province,” he said in a statement. Usman Buzdar further stated that every family in Punjab would have ‘Naya Pakistan Sehat Card’ by 31st of March the following year. He maintained that every family would be able to get free treatment facility up to Rs1 million per annum against one ‘Naya Pakistan Sehat Card’, adding that 30 million families and 11.5 crore people would benefit from the card. He lamented that the previous government did not think about such a welfare oriented project like ‘Naya Pakistan Sehat Card’.
