Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has welcomed this weekend’s FA Cup third round Merseyside derby with Liverpool by stating it’s good to have a big test. The Italian also compared the Reds’ form this season to Premier League champions Manchester City , who are third in the table. Liverpool lead City by 16 points and look on course to win their first ever Premier League title. Jurgen Klopp’s side came close to doing it last year, finishing just a solitary point behind City. But this season Liverpool, who have already beaten Everton 5-2 in the league, have only dropped two points.
