Gloriavale Leavers’ Trust general manager and support worker Liz Gregory said Thursday’s event will go ahead under alert level 2 restrictions, despite last week’s alert level change prompting the cancellation of the trust’s events in other parts of the country. Gregory said the evening would look at the ‘’concept of unmasking some of Gloriavale’s more secretive behaviours’’. The event on Thursday will start with a presentation before a panel of four leavers front for a discussion and answer audience questions. Bejon Haswell/Stuff After the success of previous events, Gregory hoped to have a couple of hundred people at Thursday's event but has had to limit numbers due to Covid-19 alert level 2 restrictions. She said she had been hoping for a couple of hundred people to attend Thursday’s event and was “gutted” by the gathering limits imposed by alert level 2.
