It will be recalled that the chairman of the Referees Association, Joe Debrah hinted that his outfit will boycott the upcoming football season over unpaid allowances by the GFA. But Mr. Attifu believes that, the Chairman’s position on the subject in question is not the position of the association hence the need for him to retract and apoligise to the FA. Referees Association of Ghana has never come out with any statement and the comments from the Chairman does not reflect the views of the members but his own opinion, “he added. The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season is expected to begin on December 28, 2019.
