The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya on Wednesday called upon the serving state officials to keep off political activities. Referring to Article 75 of the Constitution, Oginde pleaded with government officials not to engage in politics. The Alliance Secretary General Nelson Makanda requested the Electoral Commission to be haste in resolving the ongoing candidate nomination challenges. "We want a peaceful and united Kenya, Corruption free and God-fearing nationals, freedom of expression, and an undivided Kenya," Makanda said. The EAK further urged all registered voters to evaluate the different candidates and prepare to elect those who represent their aspirations.
