ICYMI | Another look at what happened in the final stretch of the race walk. The 25-year-old Dunfee, from Richmond, B.C., led for nearly 10 km before Toth passed him just shy of the 39-km mark. Tallent then took over and was in front on his own before Toth made a late charge for the victory. Dunfee was eager to show his ability in the 50-km race after finishing as the top Canadian in the 20-km Olympic race walk a week ago.
