Passengers were reportedly held on the 12:13 train from Paris to London for two hours before being asked to re-board another train. On their Twitter page, Eurostar said: "We apologise to passengers #ES9027, currently held in Calais awaiting a replacement train. Many passengers stuck on the train missed connections in London and took to Twitter demanding refunds, while others said they were stuck on platforms in "fierce winds". "In reply to one passenger, Eurostar added: "Your train 9027 has a technical failure and you will be transferred onto a new train at Calais Frethun. "Your replacement train will be with you in approx 1 hour.
