BERLIN (Reuters) - Two goals from Anthony Modeste allowed European hopefuls Cologne to snap Werder Bremen's 11-game unbeaten run with a 4-3 win on Friday. The result left Cologne in sixth place with two games left in the season. Cologne were 2-0 by the 28th minute, having enjoyed an explosive start with French striker Modeste and Leonardo Bittencourt on target. Cologne are on 45 points, ahead of Werder on goal difference. Sixth place guarantees a spot in the Europa League group stage with the seventh-placed team heading into the competition's qualifiers.
