The Stoxx Europe 600 edged down 0.1% in morning trading, narrowly on track for a fourth straight session of losses. Futures pointed to a 0.1% opening decline for the S&P 500, after financial shares led Wall Street to a slightly lower finish on Monday. Ten-year German bund yields fell to 0.315% from 0.345% Monday, while their French counterparts rose to 0.974% from 0.959%. The British pound fell to multiweek lows against the dollar at $1.2213 following data showing a decline in retail sales. The euro was off 0.1% at $1.0575 after data showed a slowdown in German manufacturing orders.
