The legendary Euro 96 - the last major tournament to be held in England - is being shown by ITV in its entirety this month. With this year’s tournament postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak, ITV has decided to rerun Euro 96. A total of 16 teams took part with England playing the role of hosts. The Euro 96 slogan was Football Comes Home reflecting the sport's rules were first standardised in the UK. ITV began streaming the tournament on Monday, May 11, and will air all games until May 29, when the final is shown.
