The Fan Zone's opening ceremony in Stuttgart last night attracted people from all over the city to Schlossplatz. Image source, BBC SportFans without tickets for the festival were sat in steps outside the Untergrundbahn station to get a decent view. By the time I had made it in, around 20 minutes after it had opened, the place was already packed. The security was very good, the queues moved quickly and there was plenty of space for people to find food, drink and merchandise.
