Football was the common bond between 30 different ethnic groups at Palmerston North's Ethkick tournament. Thirty-eight teams took part in the ninth edition of the annual football tournament at the Central Energy Trust Arena on Saturday. Burmese team Karen Love Karen, named after a popular Burmese band, won the cup for the third year running. Tournament organiser Jason Flynn said Ethkick celebrated Palmerston North's cultural diversity.
