The Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) has launched a whistleblower platform dubbed 'Adera' to give the public a direct channel to report complaints. • Adera will initially support Amharic and English, with plans to onboard other languages including Oromiffa and Tigrinya. • Adera is designed to allow users, including employees, customers, and the general public, to submit information anonymously. “Beyond this, our portfolios require a management system capable of adapting to dynamic environments,” Habtamu Hailemichael, deputy chief executive of EIH, said during the launch. The launch comes after a series of leadership reshuffles at enterprises under EIH which have seen more than 70 board members and executives have been replaced or reassigned.
