RABAT, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopian athletes dominated Morocco's Rabat International Marathon as they swept most of the medals in both men's and women's races on Sunday. Another Ethiopian, Samuel Getachew Demie, came third at 2:09:44. In the women's category, Alemu Worknesch won the title in 2:30:04. She was followed by Kenya's Jeptoo Eunice with a time of 2:33:41 and the other Ethiopian, Bekelu Beji Geletu, in 2:34:05. Some 9,000 athletes took part in the marathon.
