Mar 18, 2017Star Alliance member Ethiopian Airlines is pushing the commencement of its Chengdu flights ahead to a sooner start date. Chengdu is the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province with its history dating back to at least the 4th century BC. The city is also home to the world-famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a conservation center where visitors can view endangered giant pandas in a natural habitat. Addis Ababa, is the sprawling Ethiopian capital bordering the Great Rift Valley. It’s National Museum exhibits Ethiopian art, traditional crafts, and prehistoric fossils, and includes replicas of the famous early hominid, "Lucy."
