Shares, NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 28 – An Ethiopian , believed to be an accomplice of the slain attacker at Deputy President William Ruto’s home in Sugoi has been fined Sh50,000 after he pleaded guilty being in the country illegally. If Ali Elema Wario fails to pay the amount, he will serve a month in jail, Nairobi Magistrate Kenneth Cheruiyot directed. He however denied the charge of being a member of terrorist group Al Shabaab. It is alleged that he was in constant communication with the slain attacker – Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamud who was gunned down on July 31, after an 18-hour siege. The court will determine his bail application in the attack case after the prosecution opposed his release on bail claiming he is a flight risk and the police are still looking for his accomplices.
