Ethiopian Airlines’ Cargo and Logistics Services received its first Boeing 737-800 freighter. This new addition to Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services is a ninth to a fleet of other types of cargo freighters. The B737-800 has a payload capacity of over 23 metric tons and is endowed with excellent operating economics to maximize efficiency for cargo operations. Equipped with ten state-of-the-art dedicated freighters and Africa’s largest transshipment terminal, Ethiopian Cargo and logistics Services gives services spanning 44 international destinations across Africa, Gulf, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services envisions to become a full-fledged profit center of Ethiopian Airlines Group with annual revenue of US$ 2bn, 19 dedicated aircraft, annual tonnage of 820,000, and 57 international destinations by 2025.
