Ethiopian PM Hailemariam Desalegn ResignsFebruary 15, 2018 - In a surprise announcement, Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has resigned from his position, including chairman of the EPRDF, Ethiopia's ruling party. Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn led Ethiopia since 2012. PM Hailemariam Desalegn will remain as caretaker PM until the ruling party elects his successor.
