Ethiopia's Ulfata Deresa Geleta finished first in the men's group, clocking two hours, seven minutes and 41 seconds, with China's Chen Tianyu finishing seventh. In the women's group, Kenyan runners dominated the top three spots, led by Vibian Chepkirui who won the title in two hours, 21 minutes and 57 seconds. Also on Sunday, in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Dong Guojian won the Xi'an Marathon men's title in two hours, 10 minutes and 45 seconds.
