Nega Fantahun was allegedly working as a logistics supplier to the Fano group in the Ambasel area, the report said. Fano forces in Wollo did not bother remarking on the government claims at the time of this writing. There were even reports of assessments from the political leadership in the Amhara region that the war against Fano forces could not be won. The Fano forces, who are primarily employing guerrilla attack military strategy, have claimed major victories.
